Here's just a small update on my life for those who care. Things are going much better than the last time I wrote anything here. Yeah, my court date is coming up on the 3rd, so I'm not looking forward to that. The lawyer says that it will probably be dismissed pending community service hours that must be completed, which is far away from my worst-case scenarios, so that's good.

I wasn't able to find an internship this summer to compound on my terrific experience at Cisco a year ago. That's a bummer, but I now have time to work on other stuff, like teaching myself some CSS and redesigning my website into something more complex and non-table-based, which will be good for any future employers who are snooping around my online identity. I do at least have a job for the summer, working at Campus Technology Services at my University. It's a fairly stress and work-free job, so that's always a good thing. In addition to that I will probably end up working (fo' free) in my dad's office this summer helping them design a web application for the school to be used on iPhones and the like. We decided that it should be web-based because:

1. I wouldn't have to teach myself objective C to design it for the iPhone.
2. It wouldn't be an android-only application written in Java.
3. It would be pretty universal, accessible by anyone with an internet connection, which can be found everywhere on campus.

So that should be an interesting experience and a good thing to put on my resume as well. Not to mention it goes hand in hand with my CSS learnings. Fun!

Hopefully I'll be going to Minnesota in the beginning of July, once my online Baseball Statistics class is finished. I wanna see a few Twins games!
